Basketball Recap: Lausanne Collegiate's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Lausanne Collegiate needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Patrick Thompson. The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx blew past the Trezevant Bears 77-42 on Friday thanks in part to Thompson, who posted 18 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games.

Another player making a difference was Jordan Richardson, who put up 12 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Lausanne Collegiate's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Trezevant, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Lausanne Collegiate and Trezevant could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Lausanne Collegiate (ranked 180th) will meet Christian Brothers (ranked 40th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Trezevant (ranked 284th) will meet White Station (ranked 56th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
