Basketball Recap: Walkertown Skates Past Bethany Community with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walkertown). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Bethany Community Wolves 93-53. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-26.

Kenan Grady was his usual excellent self, shooting 67% from the field on his way to 17 points and three steals. Ricco Daniels was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.

Walkertown's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Bethany Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Walkertown will be home for the holidays to greet Rockingham County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethany Community, they will head out on the road to square off against Gray Stone Day at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
