Morris came tearing into Monday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Streator Bulldogs with a sharp 8-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Morris' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Streator, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morris will take on Andrew at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunderbolts' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Redskins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Streator, they will square off against Ottawa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
