Sarah Gentile Game Report: vs Ridley

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Sarah Gentile stepped things up a notch to give Upper Darby the 'W'. Gentile was unstoppable, striking out 11 batters over 8.1 innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Gentile and Upper Darby will venture away from home to take on Garnet Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
