Georgetown Prep was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 13th to 11th in Freelance.
St. Mary's Ryken extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Paul VI, 41-21. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Hancock's dynamic duo of Nate Souders and Hunter Mckinley proved tough for Massanutten Military Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Souders threw for seven yards and one touchdown and Mckinley had 17 yards receiving. Jesse Wolford helped Hancock's passing attack out by catching one ball for seven yards.
Aaron Rodeheaver was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 139 yards as Northern beat the Colonels. Jeremy Bender also contributed to the rushing game with 135 yards on the ground.
Eastern Christian Academy's David Sills and Daikiel Shorts have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Freelance in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Sills has thrown for 719 yards this season, while Shorts has 14 catches for 307 yards. Hancock's Jordan Keefer leads the league in rushing yards with 616.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Fort Hill takes on Allegany. At the moment, the Sentinels are in third, while the Campers are in fourth.
