The Owyhee Storm will face off against the Cole Valley Christian Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Owyhee will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Owyhee is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Pocatello, who was ranked seventh at the time (Owyhee was ranked first). Owyhee never let Pocatello get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Saturday. The four-run effort marked the Storm's lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Not much got past Hailey Brennan, who gave up just three hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Pocatello off the board. Brennan has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Grace Groulx, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Hailey Bock was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases.
Meanwhile, Cole Valley Christian beat Meridian 10-7 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.
Cole Valley Christian let Emery Hawkins and Lola Crosby run wild. Hawkins scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Crosby scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brinkley Lauderdale, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Cole Valley Christian lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Owyhee's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Cole Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Owyhee hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 2.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Cole Valley Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs.
