The Van Horn Eagles came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-4 victory at home. With Van Horn ahead 21-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Van Horn got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Orlando Zamora out in front who scored 6 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Anchondo, who scored 6 points.
