Recap: Carlisle Indians vs. Brookville Blue Devils
The Carlisle Indians had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Brookville by a score of 43-31 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carlisle also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Brookville's loss came despite strong showings from Sara Carr and Hunter Gardner. Carr scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Gardner scored nine points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gardner has scored all season.
Carlisle's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Brookville, they bumped their record down to 5-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle will take on Newton Local at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Newton Local is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Brookville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northridge at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
