Baseball Recap: Horse Creek Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Horse Creek Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 12-2 to the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stallions have suffered since March 1st.

Horse Creek Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cannon Blume, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Connor Kanagy, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Horse Creek Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Horse Creek Academy will venture away from home to square off against Calhoun County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
