Basketball Game Preview: Newman International Academy Warriors vs. Perrin-Whitt Pirates

The Newman International Academy Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Perrin-Whitt Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Newman International Academy saw some tournament action last Saturday. They strolled past Lucas Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 40-26. The win made it back-to-back victories for Newman International Academy.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Perrin-Whitt over Clifton in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Perrin-Whitt put the hurt on Clifton with a sharp 67-44 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Newman International Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Perrin-Whitt, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
