Basketball Recap: Episcopal Knights vs. Legion Preparatory Academy Bulldogs
Episcopal kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Legion Preparatory Academy Bulldogs 105-24. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak dating back to last season.
Legion Preparatory Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jerriyah Baines out in front who had 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamora Pruitt, who earned 17 points.
The victory was the 13th in a row (dating back to last season) for Legion Preparatory Academy, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Episcopal will venture away from home to challenge Village at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Legion Preparatory Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 105-38 win against Dickinson on the 7th.
