Recap: Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks vs. Bozeman Bucks

The Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks lost against the Bozeman Bucks back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Port St. Joe fell to Bozeman 46-41. It was the first time this season that Port St. Joe let down their fans at home.

Several Tiger Sharks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaden Jenrett, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Bj Cole was another key contributor, scoring three points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.

Port St. Joe's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-8. As for Bozeman, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Port St. Joe won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. Franklin County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Port St. Joe likes a good challenge. As for Bozeman, they will head out on the road to challenge Freeport at 1:15 p.m. on Monday. Freeport will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 612th, while Bozeman is ranked 200th).
