Basketball Recap: Pueblo Central Takes a Loss

Pueblo Central lost against Pueblo County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pueblo Central Wildcats fell to the Pueblo County Hornets 34-29. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the loss, Pueblo Central still got an impressive performance from Alliana Martinez, who posted ten points.

Leading Pueblo County to victory were Rylee Stupnik and Tylee Glenn. Stupnik had 12 points, while Glenn put up eight points.

Pueblo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Pueblo County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Pueblo Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-23 loss against Rampart on the 15th. As for Pueblo County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-31 defeat against Lutheran on the 15th.
