 After a string of four wins, Kendrick's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They took  a  9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grangeville Bulldogs.
  Wyatt Fitzmorris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hunter Taylor, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 On Grangeville's side,  Jt Jackson was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Ray Holes, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Kendrick's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Grangeville, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kendrick will  face off against Nezperce at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Kendrick is facing Nezperce at the right time seeing as Nezperce is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Grangeville, they will head out on the road to  take on  Priest River at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Grangeville will also cruise into their next  contest with the timing on their side: Priest River will have lost 14 straight heading into Friday's  game.
