Addison Trail hadn't done well against Berwyn/Cicero Morton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Blazers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Mustangs. Addison Trail's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Addison Trail pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four games. As for Berwyn/Cicero Morton, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.
