Baseball Recap: Firelands Takes a Loss

Firelands's last matchup with North Ridgeville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Falcons lost 13-5 to the Rangers. The Falcons have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Kase Rogers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Aaron Bower was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Firelands' loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for North Ridgeville, their win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Firelands will face off against Open Door Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Ridgeville, they will challenge Elyria at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
