Corona entered their tilt with Miami Christian on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Victors. Considering the Panthers have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Corona gave Jack Janewicz the start and clearly made the right call: he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Janewicz has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Trey Ebel was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Logan Pascarella, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Corona kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Corona's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Miami Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.

Coming up, Corona will venture away from home to challenge JSerra Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miami Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Bishop O'Dowd on the 31st.
