Liberty had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Maquoketa Cardinals.

Liberty has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Maquoketa, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 12-1 record.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maquoketa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-48 loss against Iowa City on the 20th.
