Beekmantown was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Plattsburgh on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Hornets 12-6. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by six runs or more this season.

Ashley Barnes was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Katharine Jewell, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Beekmantown's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Plattsburgh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Beekmantown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ticonderoga on the 1st. As for Plattsburgh, they have also already played their next game, a 14-10 win against Northeastern Clinton on the 5th.
