South Anchorage faced Bartlett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolverines' defense stepped up to hand the Golden Bears a 7-0 shutout. South Anchorage might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six goals or more this season.

They hit Bartlett with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nobel Hoffman (3), Owen Brown (2), Robert Marshall, and Andrew Marshall.

South Anchorage's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Bartlett, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
