Basketball Recap: Waynesville Comes Up Short

Waynesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Webb City Cardinals 64-33. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Cardinals are ranked 96th).

Waynesville's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Webb City, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Waynesville will head out on the road to take on Parkview at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Waynesville is facing Parkview at the right time seeing as Parkview is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Webb City, they will face off against Glendale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Webb City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
