Softball Recap: Isabella Takes a Loss

Isabella and Horseshoe Bend squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Isabella had to settle for second. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. The Mustangs have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Isabella's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Horseshoe Bend, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-8-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Isabella will square off against Pike Liberal Arts at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Horseshoe Bend, they will challenge Zion Chapel at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. The Generals are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Rebels a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
