            Volleyball Recap: Nederland Panthers vs. Campion Academy Cougars        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against William Smith  last Friday, Nederland came back down to earth. The Panthers took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Campion Academy Cougars on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the  3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2015.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 10-25,  25-21.
Nederland's offense was headlined by  Reya Levy and  River LeMaster, who picked up three kills apiece. Levy also shared the team's lead in assists with  Naima Bullings: they picked up two each. Bullings also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Sierra Tomlinson, each putting up five.
Nederland's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Campion Academy, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-6.
 Nederland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Loveland Classical on the 17th. As for Campion Academy, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-1  loss against Twin Peaks Classical Academy on the 20th.
