Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Rockmart Yellowjackets 97-36. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 450th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Union County's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35 points. As for Rockmart, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

As of now, neither Union County nor Rockmart have any future games scheduled.
