Evans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the Colonial Grenadiers. Even though they lost, the Trojans' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Isaiah Robinson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Deion Holmes, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
