Softball Recap: Russell County Comes Up Short

Russell County was the 6-2 winner over Adair County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakers lost 12-4 to the Indians on Tuesday. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rylen McGowan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4.

Russell County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Adair County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Russell County will venture away from home to face off against Monroe County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Adair County, they will square off against Glasgow at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
