 After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Patrick Henry finally came back down to earth  on Wednesday. They fell victim to a  rough 7-0 loss at the hands of the Eastside Spartans. Patrick Henry has not had much luck with Eastside recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 For Eastside's part,  not much got past  Braelyn Hall, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Patrick Henry off the board. Hall has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Taylor Clay, who  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles and  an  RBI.  Haley Frazier was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Patrick Henry's defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 8-3-1. As for Eastside, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will  take on Holston at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Patrick Henry's pitching crew has only allowed two  runs per game  this season, so Holston's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eastside, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Thomas Walker at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Eastside is facing Thomas Walker at the right time seeing as Thomas Walker is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
