Basketball Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

Jackson County lost against Loganville back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jackson County Panthers took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loganville Red Devils. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Jackson County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Loganville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Jackson County Panthers challenge the Apalachee Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackson County is facing Apalachee at the right time seeing as Apalachee is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Loganville, they will face off against Walnut Grove at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Loganville will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Walnut Grove will have lost three straight heading into Friday's matchup.
