Baseball Recap: Campbellsport Starts off Right with Win over Chilton

Campbellsport took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Chilton Tigers 4-3. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Brody Nolan was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Jace Goebel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Campbellsport has already played their next match, a 12-0 victory against Oakfield on the 3rd. As for Chilton, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Freedom at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
