Green Run is 9-0 against Ocean Lakes since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Green Run Stallions will take on the Ocean Lakes Dolphins at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Green Run has nine straight victories, Ocean Lakes has 26 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, everything went Green Run's way against First Colonial as Green Run made off with a 70-46 win. Given the Stallions' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Patriots are ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ocean Lakes came up short against Indian River on Wednesday, falling 61-36.

Green Run's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Ocean Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything came up roses for Green Run against Ocean Lakes when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 73-28 win. Does Green Run have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ocean Lakes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
