Volleyball Recap: Laconia Comes Up Short

Laconia lost against Somersworth back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sachems came up short against the Toppers, falling 3-0. The Sachems have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-9, 25-14.

Somersworth can attribute much of their success to Kylie Pettengill, who had four digs and two aces. Pettengill has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 28 times she's played.

Laconia now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Somersworth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Laconia is set to take on their familiar foe Kingswood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Somersworth will square off against rival Stark at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
