Soccer Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mountain View Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Stafford have lost by just one goal.

Stafford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mountain View, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stafford is set to face off against their familiar foe Colonial Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mountain View will square off against rival Massaponax at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Mountain View have won four straight at home, while Massaponax won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
