Baseball Recap: Berea-Midpark Comes Up Short

Berea-Midpark fell victim to Olmsted Falls and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Bulldogs. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Berea-Midpark got a good showing from Anthony Birch, who struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave Birch a new career-low in walks (zero).

This is the second loss in a row for Berea-Midpark and nudges their season record down to 6-11. As for Olmsted Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9-1.
