McIntosh County Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-35 victory over Taylor County. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, Mitchell County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 51-41.

Mitchell County pushed their record up to 18-12 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for McIntosh County Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 24-5.
