Pickerington North has gone a perfect 3-0 against Central Crossing recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Central Crossing took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pickerington North, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Pickerington North got the win against Westerville Central by a conclusive 3-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Warhawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Pickerington North walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Central Crossing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Lincoln.
Central Crossing couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Lincoln a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 15-25, 25-12, 35-23.
Pickerington North will have to keep a close watch on Kayleanah Degerick and Aubrey Hecker, a pair of players who had a big impact on Central Crossing's prior game. Degerick had 18 digs and two assists, while Hecker had nine digs. With that strong performance, Degerick is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game. Emily Jude also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Pickerington North's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Central Crossing, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
