Basketball Recap: Westmoreland Finds Home Court Redemption Against York Institute

There's no place like home for Westmoreland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the York Institute Dragons with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 51-35. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 54-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Westmoreland pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for York Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-20.

Coming up, Westmoreland will square off against Jackson County on Tuesday. Jackson County will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Westmoreland surely won't give up without a fight. York Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
