Volleyball Recap: Custer County Has No Trouble Against Lockwood

Custer County won the last time they faced Lockwood and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cowboys were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the LIONS. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

Custer County never let Lockwood on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-22.

Ramsey Pryor paced Custer County's offense, picking up eight kills. Pryor got some help from Allison Atwood and her 22 assists. Clea Rapson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Custer County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lockwood, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Custer County will host Dawson County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lockwood, they will take on Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
