Ridgeline won the last time they faced Juan Diego Catholic and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Ridgeline Riverhawks blew past the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle 13-1.
 Cael Kidman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  RBI and one  stolen base.
 In other pitching news,  Jackson Christensen looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in March of 2024.
 Back at the plate,  Cooper Clark was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tyson Smith, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 Ridgeline  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in six consecutive  contests  dating back to last season.
The  win  got Ridgeline back to even at 1-1. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their loss  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 1-1.
 Looking ahead, Ridgeline will take on Weber at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they will face off against Lehi at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
