Dj Johnson Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Starting off the list is Coosa's Dj Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Johnson rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Coosa dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Johnson will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Gordon Lee on Friday.

Callihan Came Up Big in Fannin County's 56-6 Victory

Fannin County picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Carson Callihan. Nobody could stop Callihan as he rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

Fannin County's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Callihan will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Christian Heritage on Friday.

Brayden Taylor and Co. Win Eighth in a Row

Fannin County picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brayden Taylor. Taylor turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass.

This year, Taylor has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 55.5 receiving yards per game.
