Gaffney's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Spartanburg Vikings by a score of 6-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Jace Bradbury, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Brady Smith was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Gaffney's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Spartanburg, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Gaffney will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
