Softball Recap: RHAM Comes Up Short

RHAM managed to slip by Plainville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raptors came up short against the Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 19-2. The Raptors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for RHAM and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Plainville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

RHAM will take on Bristol Eastern at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Raptors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Plainville, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Rocky Hill at 4:15 p.m. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Terriers have averaged an impressive 14 runs per game this season.
