Baseball Recap: Randolph-Henry Comes Up Short

Randolph-Henry was the 7-3 winner over Lunenburg Central when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Statesmen came up short against the Chargers on Thursday, falling 11-1. The Statesmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Randolph-Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Lunenburg Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Randolph-Henry will venture away from home to face off against Prince Edward County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Statesmen are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lunenburg Central, they will host Mecklenburg County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
