Preview: Lowell Red Arrows vs. Christian Eagles
The Lowell Red Arrows will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, Lowell was the victim of a tough 37-12 defeat at the hands of Forest Hills Central. While losing is never fun, Lowell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Forest Hills Central is ranked eighth).
Meanwhile, Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. Their tough 35-13 defeat to Greenville might stick with them for a while. That's two games in a row now that Christian has lost by exactly 22 points.
Although Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Jude Klunder and Isaiah Caviness.
The losses dropped Lowell to 5-3 and Christian to 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Lowell against Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 56-14 victory. Will Lowell repeat their success, or does Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
