Soccer Recap: Lakeland Takes a Loss

Lakeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Western Wayne Wildcats. Lakeland were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Western Wayne apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Western Wayne, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Lakeland didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against West Scranton on the 23rd. As for Western Wayne, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Gregory The Great Academy on the 23rd.
