Volleyball Recap: Bemidji Lumberjacks vs. Brainerd Warriors
Bemidji was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Brainerd Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.
Bemidji started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.
Brainerd was led to victory by Evelyn Hagen and Preslee Glynn. Hagen had 24 assists and ten digs, while Glynn had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most assists Hagen has posted since back in October of 2024. Sophia White was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.
Bemidji's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Brainerd, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-20 record this season.
As of now, neither Bemidji nor Brainerd have any future games scheduled.
