Softball Recap: Kent Island Takes a Loss

Kent Island lost against Queen Anne's County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers fell 8-3 to the Lions.

Kent Island now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Queen Anne's County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

Kent Island will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. As for Queen Anne's County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Wicomico at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.92 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
