Soccer Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial lost against Blessed Trinity on March 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Centennial came up short against Blessed Trinity, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Centennial can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Blessed Trinity are ranked 20th).

This is the second loss in a row for Centennial and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Blessed Trinity, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will head out to challenge Dunwoody at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunwoody will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Blessed Trinity, they are taking a road trip to face off against Atlanta International at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
