Soccer Recap: Three Straight Home Wins for Cookeville

Cookeville barely beat Wilson Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. The matchup was close at halftime, but Cookeville turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Cookeville pushed their record up to 9-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Wilson Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
