Basketball Recap: South Point Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

South Point had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-47 W against the Rock Hill Redmen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-48 last Friday.

Rock Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Izaak Cox, who went 7 for 10 en route to 15 points and six boards. Rylan Barker was another key player, going 5 of 12 to rack up 13 points and eight assists.

The victory got South Point back to even at 10-10. As for Rock Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Coming up, South Point will face off against Symmes Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Rock Hill, they will head out to square off against Ironton at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
