Volleyball Recap: Sophie Burdock Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Rouse

Eagle Mountain saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rouse Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Eagle Mountain got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sophie Burdock out in front who had seven digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Lexi Nichols, who had 11 digs.

Eagle Mountain's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Rouse, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season.

Eagle Mountain will face off against Paradise at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rouse, they will challenge Stony Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
